I use sculptural forms and twisting, flowing lines to create rich, evocative images. I seek depth, both in my subject matter and the final images produced. My vision centers around achieving oneness between the self and the natural world(s), including the otherworld. I seek archetypal roots, reach for the collective unconscious, and live beyond the limitations of just five senses. The layers of this and the otherworld are myriad; we form part of those layers.

We too are elemental

greetings

I’m Audrey, artist and free thinker. Welcome to my world, and thank you for stopping by. It’s great to have the opportunity to share what I do.

Have you ever taken a walk through a forest or other natural place and been struck by the wonder of it? Or had the feeling that there is just a little more to things than you can see? I have. Often. I feel the world might be better for it if we all made a little space in our lives for enchantment. Walk with me a while, and I will take you through what I see…

what’s new?

I’ve been busy playing with various images in the form of jigsaw puzzles. They will be available to play online initially, but I may get some made, as I do love a good jigsaw puzzle on a rainy day.

To play the first puzzle, click the link below or the picture to the right.

It’s a bit of a challenge, so I’d love to hear how long it takes you. Its set to 100 pieces as a default (super easy), but you can change the number of pieces before you start.

If there are any of my other images you want to see as a puzzle, drop me a note here

I’m generally found painting and dreaming in my treehouse studio on a well-hidden lifestyle block in rural New Zealand. You can lean more about me and my work here
